Thank you for all your many calls and emails to your state representatives in support of HB 167!
Yesterday, the Missouri state House passed HB 167 by a vote of 102 to 56 (roll call).

HB 167, introduced by Rep. Jerry Nolte (R-33rd), requires that driver's license written and skills exams are administered in no languages other than English. The bill also rightly prohibits the use of interpreters for any portion of the exam.

Prior to final passage, the House did adopt one amendment to the bill—to allow tests in English sign language in addition to spoken English.

HB 167 now moves over to the Senate for consideration,
so please urge your state senator to support it!
