Thanks to your thousands of phone calls  and emails urging the Senate to oppose the DREAM Act amnesty, the vote to agree to the House-passed version of the bill FAILED by a vote of 55 to 41.  60 votes were needed for the measure to succeed, but it fell 5 votes short.

This vote today marks the third time the DREAM Act amnesty has failed in the Senate this year, and it effectively marks the final attempt of this Congress to pass it into law.  Congratulations!
