“As you know, last year we lost by one vote in the State Senate.  But we came back, and this year, we won!”

Oklahoma State Rep. Randy Terrill (R-53rd)

Thanks to Rep. Randy Terrill, when you go to the polls this November 2nd, you’ll have the opportunity to make English the official language of Oklahoma!

Rep. Terrill’s English is the Official Language of Oklahoma Act passed the state legislature in 2009 by a vote of 89 to 8 and it effectively placed State Question 751 on the 2010 state ballot.

State Question 751 is expected to pass overwhelmingly with broad support among registered Democrats, Republicans, and Independents.  A recent Rasmussen poll found that 84% of likely-voters support making English the official language of the United States and a January 2010 poll found that 83% of Oklahomans support State Question 751.
