56 Congressmen sign letter to Chairman Sensenbrenner
opposing renewal of the bilingual ballots clause
Two champion of official English, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) and Rep Peter
King (R-NY) joined forces to urge the chairman of the House Judiciary
committee not to reauthorize the bilingual ballot requirements of the
VRA. ProEnglish helped win the support of 56 congressmen to sign
this letter.
